This seasons theme is second chances. I think anyone that has made the show has been given at second chance at life, but it is stressed more this season. Daniel Wright, from last season, appears to be given a second chance. He was the heaviest contestant ever weighing in at 454 pounds at the start of the show. He lost 60 pounds prior to being told he was not the biggest loser after four weeks on the show. In the preview, he states that he has lost a total of 142 pounds.

Also competing is Amanda Arlauskas, who won her spot with America’s vote on the show during the last seasons finale. They will also have the heaviest female ( over 400 pounds) that has ever competed on the show.

Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels are returning as the biggest loser trainers. Get ready for some more butt kicking workouts. I’m also wondering if they will integrate the WII fit into their routines. Jillian has a workout routine for the wii gaming system.

Allison Sweeney is returning as the host.
